Story
Our family is joining our dear friends the Martins family here in London in joining them on a 5km virtual walk in memory of their daughter, Beatriz. All donations will go to the Shooting Stars Hospices which was an excellent care giver for their family in a time of need.
Afrodite, Beatriz's beautiful mother wrote -
"There are many friends hey will be in different places and in different countries, walking with us and supporting us, we are very grateful for it. Beatriz was 13 years old girl. In March last year she was diagnosed with one of the rarest and most aggressive cancer known to date. In May she died leaving us and our supportive "village" devastated.
A year later we want to do this walk in her memory at the same time say a Big Thank you to this wonderful and amazing charity- Shooting Stars Hospices - which has looked after her and us during her last moments. Thank you for your donations Luis, Afrodite, Pedro and Mateus"
